I'm an independent celebrant specialising in funerals and celebrations of life, creating beautiful, personal ceremonies that honour the people we love and the stories they leave behind.

Life has taken me on quite a journey. I've spent over 22 years working across fintech, the funeral profession and now running my own real estate business. Whilst the jobs have been very different, the heart of them has always been the same – people. I love hearing people's stories, understanding what makes them unique and helping them through some of life's biggest moments.

I live by the sea in beautiful Broadstairs with my family and have also been lucky enough to call Australia and Austria home. It left me with a love of travel, different cultures, incredible food and a belief that life's best memories are often made around a table with people you love.

Anyone who knows me knows that family and friends are my world. I adore good food (especially Asian food), Bruce Springsteen is the soundtrack to my life, and I have a long-standing love affair with fashion and shoes. Some might call it an obsession. I prefer to think of it as a commitment to fit into the shoes!

As a celebrant, I believe a funeral or celebration of life should feel as unique as the person at the centre of it. It should tell their story honestly, celebrate their character, and leave people saying, "That was so them."

Some ceremonies are filled with laughter. Some are deeply reflective. Most are a little of both, because life itself is a mixture of joy, heartbreak, love and beautiful imperfections.

My role is simply to listen, to understand and to create something meaningful that brings comfort to those left behind while celebrating a life that mattered.

Because at the end of the day, it's all about people, love, connection and the stories that deserve to be remembered.
